Glaucoma is a disease that can damage the eye’s optic nerve and result in vision loss and blindness. It is one of the main causes of blindness in the United States. Dailey Harvey Eye Associates’ physicians treat glaucoma with topical medications and laser therapy (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty). Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty is performed in the office setting and is used to treat glaucoma alone or in conjunction with topical medications.
